The pupils and staff had a fantastic time, and we were incredibly proud to see the children's resilience and teamwork. Residentials are a fantastic way of helping the children develop really important skills, like teamworking, while also building their self-confidence in preparation for the transition to secondary school.
Pupils were tasked with three main challenges:
- Climbing a moving Jacob's ladder.
- Building a buggy from scratch.
- Designing and building a shelter.
They did a great job with all three challenges and showed how well they were able to problem solve.
