Welcome to Ark Tindal

I am delighted to welcome you to Ark Tindal Academy. We are a primary school and nursery serving pupils from our local community in Balsall Heath, Birmingham.

Our vision at Ark Tindal is to provide an exceptional education that inspires all children to flourish into confident, successful and well-rounded individuals. Our curriculum prepares pupils for a life without limits. Our pupils leave us as  responsible citizens; they are conscious of their own impact upon the world and others whilst holding a relentless curiosity about the world around them.

Tindal is an exciting and innovative place to learn. We are all driven by the common vision of enabling every child to go to university or into a career of their choice. At the heart of everything that we do is the determination to develop our pupils through a variety of experiences, challenges and opportunities, whilst enhancing our school values – ambition, resilience and respect. These values are demonstrated throughout the school, as noted in our last Ofsted inspection, where the school was found to be outstanding in the areas of 'Leadership and Management' and 'Early Years'.

At Ark Tindal we pride ourselves on helping every child to feel safe and happy in the school environment. Children are valued by their classmates and teachers, and we have dedicated staff to ensure that all our pupils are settled, comfortable and ready to learn. It is important to us to celebrate the achievements of our pupils, be these academic, sporting, artistic or in social groups outside of school.
