We had the pleasure of welcoming Baroness Barran MBE (Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, at the Department for Education) to Ark Tindal on Monday.   Our Eco Council and Gardening Club showed her around our amazing Science Garden and talked with her about the national Education Nature Parks initiative, where pupils look for and record signs of nature in schools.

With her, came visitors from the Department for Education, Natural History Museum, other Academy Trusts and the BBC West Midlands Science and Environmental Correspondent, David Gregory-Kumar, who covered the event on television, with a special report shown on Midlands Today! They met some of our very excited children from the gardening club and Eco-council to discuss how Tindal is supporting initiatives on sustainability and climate change. The visitors were very impressed by our Science Garden and the children showcased the various activities we have to offer.
