Tes Awards

We are incredibly proud to share that Ark Tindal Primary Academy has been shortlisted for this year’s Tes Schools Awards - a national celebration of the most inspiring schools and educators across the UK.

This recognition means a huge amount to us. It reflects the collective effort of our whole school community - our brilliant staff, our wonderful children, and our supportive families - who make Ark Tindal such a special place to learn and grow.

At the heart of our work is a deep commitment to developing the whole child. Our character education approach, built around our shared virtues, helps our pupils to grow into kind, confident and thoughtful individuals. Alongside this, our three-teacher model ensures that every child benefits from high-quality teaching, daily coaching and targeted support, enabling all pupils to thrive academically and personally.

We are proud of the strong outcomes our pupils achieve, but even more proud of how they achieve them - through curiosity, resilience and a genuine love of learning. Our focus on community is equally important to us. From supporting families through practical initiatives to building meaningful local partnerships, we are committed to being a school that serves and strengthens the community around us.

Since 2009, the Tes Schools Awards have celebrated excellence across education, bringing together schools from across the UK to recognise the impact they have on pupils, staff and their wider communities. This year saw a record number of nominations, making this shortlisting an even greater honour.

The shortlist was selected by a panel of experienced school leaders and education experts, with 23 categories recognising achievements across all areas of school life.

The awards ceremony will take place on 19th June at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, hosted by comedian and presenter Katherine Ryan.

No matter the outcome, we already feel like winners. This recognition belongs to every member of Team Tindal – thank you for the care, commitment and energy you bring every single day.
