We're at an exciting phase of our development

Ark Tindal Primary Academy is at an exciting phase of its development, with a dedicated staff team committed to providing the best possible education for our pupils.

We joined the Ark network in 2012 and were rated as 'good with outstanding features' in our last Ofsted inspection. We believe in every child's potential to succeed and foster a caring, nurturing environment where they can achieve this. By having high expectations of our pupils and believing they can achieve great results, they start believing it too and rise to meet those standards.

Make a difference where it matters most

Ark schools are always based in the communities where we can make the biggest difference to children’s lives. We take on some of the most challenging schools in the country. Many of our schools have a history of academic under-achievement or are in areas of economic disadvantage. We have more than ten years' experience of successfully transforming schools, building outstanding new schools and improving the life chances of some of the most disadvantaged young people in the country.

Learning at every stage

At Ark Tindal, we are committed to providing high-quality professional learning throughout your career. The development of our staff is one of our top priorities, at every level and in every role. That’s why we offer twice the number of training days as standard. Staff at our school have access to a variety of training sessions and experiences, all designed to meet the needs of our school and our team. So no matter what stage of your career you’re at, we’ll support you to be the best that you can be.

"Ark Tindal is a lovely place to work. I have been here for just over three years and truly feel a part of the Tindal family. The children make every day exciting and their hard work makes me so proud. The children show a lot of pride towards the school too and their behaviour reflects this. They are polite, kind and very funny!  I feel like I’ve grown into a better teacher from my time spent here. There are so many opportunities to develop and reflect upon your practice. We have access to excellent training and constant professional development in and out of school. I feel lucky to have been able to take on new challenges and always feel supported along the way.  The curriculum has been adapted and changed to best support our children and I think it’s this type of reflection that Tindal has as a school that makes me so proud to be a part of."

Take your career in your own direction

We are committed to offering you diverse career progression, whether that means aspiring to senior leadership or becoming an outstanding practitioner, allowing you to really carve out a successful career in education. We are dedicated to offering opportunities to support your career in our school or as part of our wider network.

Collaborate with education experts

Joining our school means becoming part of a network of education experts who are all united by the same purpose - a commitment to making a difference where it matters most. You will have the opportunity to come together with your peers locally, nationally and sometimes even internationally, to share resources, learning and good practice.

You'll also be supported to focus on what you do best. We are always looking for ways to take away additional pressures, to give you more freedom to concentrate on improving education outcomes for young people. We offer support beyond the classroom; from prioritising strong behaviour management strategies to giving you access to our award-winning data management platform.

Have an impact far beyond your own school

If you want to be part of the effort to advance and improve education, join Ark. From creating and working with new curricula and teaching techniques, to collaborating with other schools and partners to share what works, we’re always aiming for system change. Through Ark Ventures, we incubate, launch and scale initiatives, such as Mathematics Mastery, English Mastery, Institute for Teaching and Ambition School Leadership, that address some of the most intractable issues in education and society – in the UK and around the world.
