Spring Two News Catch Up
A quick round up of news from all of our Year Groups from this term.
Nursery have been finding out about Mother's Day in recent weeks. We have been drawing pictures of our Mums and finding out how special they are.
This half term we have become great storytellers. We have read The Three Billy Goats Gruff and The Little Red Hen, We enjoyed making bread and eating it !!!. We programmed the beebots to move through the wood and find different animals from the gruffalo story.
Year 1 have been discussing Mother's Day and creating paintings ready for our Mother's Day Assembly.
This term, Year 2 have been exploring the books of Roald Dahl, and finding out about his life.
This term, Year 3 have been lucky enough to have swimming lessons every Thursday. We were a little scared at first, but we have really started to enjoy the experience and are getting much more confident in our swimming skills!
Year 4 have had a busy half term. They have had a visit from the Fire Service and learned how to react when there is a possible fire. We also visited Waterstone's and bought a book each with our World Book Day vouchers. We've enjoyed writing biographies and playscripts. We've been studying forces in Science, and the Civil War in History. We've also been making nets of a cube in Design and Technology.
This term, Year 5 have been been working hard on preparing to be Year 6 students in a few months time.
