National Offer Day for Reception places
Congratulations to everyone who has received an offer of a Reception place with us for this September - we are looking forward to welcoming our new pupils to Ark Tindal!
We are currently closed for the Easter holidays, but will reopen on Monday 29th April. If you would like to accept your child's place here and have received an offer letter with an acceptance slip to return to us, please bring it in to the Academy by Tuesday 30th April. INTERESTED IN TEACHING? COME TO OUR TEACHER TRAINING EVENING
Nearby St Alban's Academy on Conybere Street is to host an information evening for people from Birmingham and the surrounding area looking to start one of the most rewarding careers out there - teaching.
The school will host Ark Teacher Training's information evening on Tuesday 2nd June, from 6.00-7.30pm, for people interested in teaching at primary or secondary level. The programme is run by Ark, the high-performing schools network of which Ark Tindal Academy and St Alban's are both members, and is a School Direct programme, allowing participants to train in-school from day one.
During the event, attendees will be able to find out more about Ark Tindal Academy, Ark, and the Ark Teacher Training programme, through which candidates spend one year training in one of Ark's 31 schools, before qualifying as a teacher.
Attendees will find out about Ark’s schools and how they can train to become a great teacher. They will also have the opportunity to speak to St Alban's teachers and current trainees and have a chance to get one-on-one advice on CVs and applications.
Refreshments will be provided and there will have plenty of time to have questions answered.
