Come fly with Reception

Pupils watch aeroplanes land

Reception have been learning all about transport this term and in order to learn more about aeroplanes, they are visiting Birmingham Airport this week.  Today they have been making their own passports for travel and have been able to watch the aircraft taking off, landing and coming in to the terminal.  Keeping with the flying theme, they even managed to fit in a game of duck, duck, goose at lunchtime!  Some of the Reception children also met Bertie, a sniffer dog at the airport and his handler, as well as one of the police officers there who were helping to keep everyone safe.
