Our Parents and Carers are a very important part of our school and we work closely with them to help to develop their children's education.  Although we do not have a PTA at present, our weekly Coffee Mornings allow Parents and Carers to meet with key members of staff in the Academy to talk about important issues and ask questions, and invited guest speakers have visited to talk on a number of different topics.  Parent volunteers are in school every week to listen to our pupils read and are wonderful in their support of events, such as our Community Day in July 2017.  We are also able to offer a number of courses and workshops for our families, including our popular ESOL programmes, offered at the Academy by Joseph Chamberlain College.
